Judy Balchin - Biography

Hi and welcome to my website.

For so long I have been asked to create a website …and here it is at last! It has taken some time to pull together all my interests and doings. Thanks so much to Adrian Davies, my techno wizard and best friend for bullying me into action and being so patient.

So, what will you find here? Hopefully fun and inspiration. My creative life is my sanity and I love every minute of it. The online shop will be on its way soon, but until then If you see anything you like, just give me a ring and we can talk commissions or deliveries.

Over the years I have worked for many different companies. My artistic career has never been planned. It has 'meandered' along with my life motto of never saying "No" getting me into some interesting and sometimes surreal situations. I have done work for the BBC, Random House, Century Hutchison, W H Smith, Watermark Publishing, Letraset, Pebeo, Gluedots, DMC, Dempsey Designs, Search Press and many more.

My interests are many and varied so check out the pages for my books and craft kits, Doodolls, Mosaic Mania, Gallery and Phoenix Art Glass fused glass jewellery, not forgetting of course Fanny the Wondercat's musings on her feline experiences living with yours truly. Judy!
