My Craft Kits
I love crafts....so many different ones, so little time! Designing craft kits is one of the hardest tasks I undertake. Normally crafting transports me into a therapeutic cosy comfortable world, (you know what I mean, thats why you do it!) However, having to explain what I do and write instructions for someone new to a craft, is when the problems start.

Try explaining to someone how to change a light bulb, when they don't know what a bulb is, let alone a light.

When working on kits, the constraints are enormous.. costs of materials, availabilty of item contents etc. but the results are extremely rewarding, and fantastic when you meet someone who has bought, built, learnt and enjoyed the experience.

After designing kits for D.M.C. for many years, I was asked by Debbie Dempsey to design for Dempsey Designs. Some 30 or so kits later whilst also developing craft kits for W.H.Smiths, I'm still enjoying the challenge.

Kits can be found in Hobby Craft, John Lewis, W.H. Smiths and a number of other good retail outlets.
