Three years ago my daughter Ruth gave me a beautiful Dichroic glass pendant as a mother's day gift. Stunning colours trapped in time beneath glass. A year later, after much research, hard work and trials, our hand made jewellery adventure, Phoenix Art Glass, was born. Since then we have sold our wares at craft fairs and private parties and it has become increasingly popular. At present we are producing pendants, pendant and earring sets, earrings (hook and stud), bangles, charm bracelets, rings, brooches, cuff links and key rings.

The Technical Bit
Originally Dichroic glass was created for the Space Industry. Many thin layers of metal oxides are evaporated onto glass creating a light changing material. Fused Dichroic jewellery transmits and reflects colour to give a beautiful, two colour effect which 'shifts' depending on the angle of viewing. Each piece of jewellery is totally unique and impossible to duplicate, making it the perfect gift for that special person.
